Great actors exude greatness not just through their acting prowess but also through their noble acts off the screen. Amitabh Bachchan is one of those greats, who is truly dignified.

It all started when Rajinikanth jokes took the world by storm after the release of his blockbuster 'Robot'.

They became the trending topic on all possible networking sites, smses and blogging sites. The jokes good-heartedly spoofed the exaggerated traits of his onscreen characters without doubting his acting brilliance.

The 'Rajini jokes' which became a bit passe came back in demand after the South film industry's demi god attended India Sri Lanka Cricket World Cup final in Mumbai.

'Sachin Tendulkar's mother's name is Rajni Tendulkar & 'The match was watching Rajini' were few of the Rajini jokes which again started doing the rounds.

Various actors have sent and enjoyed Rajini jokes before and the latest to find them amusing just like majority of us was Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan shared one of the Rajini jokes he received on his phone on his micro-blogging site infuriating few of Rajini fans.

"Someone sent me this on mobile - "When Graham Bell invented the telephone, he found two missed calls from Rajnikant !" Brilliant" tweeted Bachchan.

When Rajini fans wrote to Bachchan saying what he did was not funny, the actor graciously explained, "Ok I shall not do it. Never criticising Rajni ... its actually praising him, his greatness and his power. He is noble successful humble person and revered like a God .. love."
